Floor plan from a photo
A photo of a plan from above → rooms as rectangles. Walls are not looked for at all: the floor is what is reliable, and a room is almost always a rectangle. The machine fits them; you correct them by the corners.
The image stays in your browser: it is not uploaded and not stored anywhere. Only the finished drawing is sent, and only when you press “Open in workspace”.

Rooms
Click a room to select it and show its handles: drag a corner or a side. The angles stay square — otherwise you would get a quadrilateral no flat has. Double click switches a room off, Delete removes it.
Detection
Otsu takes one threshold for the whole image and suits a clean export. Adaptive computes it around every pixel — that is what photos need, where a shaded corner is darker than a lit line.
Patches smaller than this share of the sheet are not rooms: those are niches, ducts and gaps between furniture.
Scale
Take the Scale tool and mark both ends of a wall whose length you know. Until then areas are counted in pixels and the drawing cannot be exported.
